In every aspect of our work, and in every part of our organization, we want to be a company that serves our customers — and is needed by society.

Most companies have a corporate creed, mission statement, or slogan framed on the wall or posted somewhere in the office. All too often, however, these words end up as nothing more than a formality. That may be because they never reach the front line — they fail to inspire genuine empathy or passion in employees.
I decided to make the words “Social Contribution: being of service to people and communities” our Principle — the belief shared by every one of our employees.
A principle is not an ideal or an aspiration to strive for; it is something each individual must embrace as their own, and only once it is embedded as a kind of DNA recognized throughout the organization does it truly function as a foundation for action and mindset.
The idea of a company that contributes to society is easy enough to grasp in the abstract. But employees often ask what that means in concrete terms, in the work they face every day. Put simply, it means doing your work with your full attention turned toward the customer.

Of course, in reality we face competition from various rivals, and each employee has their own way of working and their own goals. At times, the meaning and purpose of our work can become blurred amid the chaos. In those moments, like the light of a lighthouse, it is our principle — being of service to our customers — that always shows us the direction we should be heading.
That does not mean simply pandering to customers. In a driving school, for example, an approach focused purely on getting students to pass their test might please customers and generate profit for the company. But that is not truly being of service to the customer, nor is it what society needs from us.
Our principle is directly tied to our pride. Each and every employee builds up sincere work they need not be ashamed of in light of that principle, and delivers real results. I believe that is what it means for a company to be “the real thing.”

We deliver safe, memorable food experiences that stay with you.

Social Contribution Business

Nurturing people and communities through agriculture, toward a sustainable society

Centered on an agricultural school that trains the next generation of farmers, we promote support for new farmers and regional revitalization. In-house training to raise instructor quality,
and systems that maintain consistent standards

We continually improve the quality of our educational services by developing our instructors. We have built long-term training programs — including technical and etiquette training, as well as on-site courses offered as part of our community outreach — that support ongoing skill development. We also maintain internal review systems and reflect employee feedback in how we operate, creating a structure that continuously raises the quality of both our instruction and our overall service.

01

Over 70 types of licenses available!
A wealth of options for your future

From construction machinery such as cranes and forklifts, to skills like welding and rigging, to small craft and drone piloting, we offer more than 70 different licenses and certifications. Rather than stopping at the qualification itself, we provide instruction in the practical skills each industry actually demands.

02

The No. 1 graduate count in each field.
Proven results that lead the industry

Royal Driving School, the core of our driving school business, has ranked No. 1 in Hiroshima Prefecture for graduate numbers for 13 consecutive years, and has since expanded to Ehime and Kanagawa as part of our nationwide growth. Power Up has likewise expanded across the country and holds the No. 1 position for graduate numbers in its respective fields nationwide.

By combining educational expertise with genuine hospitality, we deliver a safe, secure, and satisfying ocean life to everyone.

Through strict internal review systems and operations that reflect customer feedback, we maintain both our instruction and our overall service at a consistently high standard.

01

From boat licenses to boat ownership! Total support covering everything to do with the sea

We support everything from obtaining Class 1, Class 2, and Special (personal watercraft) boat licenses, to choosing a boat afterward, reliable marina storage, maintenance of your own boat, and the use of rental boats. 02

Top-class results in every field.
Leading the marine industry with proven trust

Marine License Royal, the core of our licensing business, operates nationwide in areas including Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Okayama, Shikoku, and Fukuoka, and boasts top-class graduate numbers in each region. Together with the proven operational know-how of Sasaki Corporation on the marina side, the group draws on its full strength to help drive the development of Japan’s marine industry.

Food Company

Not just food to fill you up —
genuine food that enriches the heart, carried into the future

Teraoka Organic Brewing, the core of our Food Company, has been committed to domestic ingredients and traditional brewing methods since its founding in 1887 (Meiji 20), delivering safe, secure food to households across Japan. We also grow our own soybeans and wheat, pursuing quality across both our brewing and farming divisions. Our lineup ranges from our mainstay organic soy sauce to popular products such as the “Teraoka Family Soy Sauce for Eggs” series, ponzu, and tsuyu dashi. We have since welcomed two companies into the group that share our commitment to protecting a safe food culture, and together we carry the richness of genuine food forward to the next generation while honoring tradition and quality.

Strengths of the Food Company

Careful, safe ingredient selection
that brings out nature’s true flavor

We avoid chemical seasonings and additives wherever possible, pursuing high-value products that let the quality of our ingredients shine through. Teraoka Organic Brewing, in particular, has continued to protect traditional production methods even as many soy sauce makers have shifted to modern equipment for the sake of efficiency. We are one of the few soy sauce makers in Japan to satisfy all four demanding conditions: domestic ingredients, cedar-barrel brewing, natural fermentation, and Organic JAS certification.

01

Proactive overseas expansion —
now adopted in 24 countries

Anticipating changes in the domestic market, we have proactively pursued overseas expansion — one of our key strengths. We have shipped products to 24 countries around the world, including the United States, China, and France. By offering a wide lineup ranging from seasonings to confectionery, we continue to expand opportunities for business overseas, and we will keep spreading authentic Japanese food culture even further.

02

Synergy across three companies,
driving the group forward as a whole

Within the group, each company’s strengths in product development, sales, and distribution combine to create powerful synergies. This has led to jointly developed products — such as confectionery made with soy sauce or lotus root — that bring together techniques and ingredients from different fields. The natural collaboration between companies that share the same values continues to create new appeal.

Social Contribution Business

Nurturing people and communities through agriculture —
the starting line for a sustainable future

We operate our agriculture-based Social Contribution Business with the aim of building a sustainable society and solving regional challenges. Royal Agri Academy, at the core of this business, promotes the training of people who will support the future of agriculture, along with support for new farmers and cooperation with local communities. By applying the educational expertise the group has cultivated over many years to the field of agriculture, we contribute to building a rich society in which everyone can thrive, in harmony with nature.

Strengths of the Social Contribution Business

An agricultural training program built by education professionals,
reassuring even for complete beginners

Drawing on years of know-how from our training and education businesses, we have built a comprehensive curriculum that teaches the fundamentals of agriculture in a systematic way. Experienced instructors provide careful, hands-on guidance covering everything from basic cultivation techniques to the safe operation of farm machinery and farm management. We support each student individually, creating an environment where they can build real skills and confidence.

01

From support for new farmers to regional revitalization,
advancing a sustainable model for agriculture

Going beyond skills training alone, we take on initiatives directly connected to regional agricultural challenges, including support for new farmers and independent operators after graduation, and the use of abandoned farmland. Working closely with local communities and municipalities, we bring new energy to regional agriculture struggling with a shortage of successors, and contribute to the sustainable development of local communities.

02

Realizing “agriculture-welfare collaboration,”
creating a place where diverse people can shine

We place great importance on supporting employment for people with disabilities through agriculture (agriculture-welfare collaboration), and on building a community where people from diverse backgrounds can work and grow together in nature. By providing a place where everyone has a role and can shine as a member of society, we aim to realize a warm society in which diversity is recognized and people support one another.
